WINNERS OF THE FIRST ESSAY CONTEST ON THE CUBAN REALITY

The Policy Institute Liberty and the World Movement of Solidarity with Cuba announce the winners of the First Essay Contest about the Cuban reality called "Democratic Feathers."
thank all the young people who submitted their essays, we are pleased with the quality, the ideas and the effort given in each trial, this would not only make this selection a competitive process has delighted members of jury and all those who organized the initiative.
congratulate the nine winners, we are pleased to encourage individual thought and research among young people. The nine winning essays will be published in a book to be presented at the awards ceremony.
Special thanks to those who helped us spread the competition in different countries of Latin America and the Caribbean, which is why trials of entries received from Uruguay, Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, Bolivia, Argentina, Ecuador, Costa Rica , Dominican Republic and Peru. This shows that Latin America and the Caribbean is not back to the Cuban reality and that young thinkers are interested in thinking and express their ideas about democracy on the continent. Thanks
